Indications

It is effective in kusta, eighty types of vata rogas, fourty types of pitta rogas and twenty types of kaphaja rogas. It is also effective in vishama jwara, Dusta vrana, Krimi, Arsas and 5 types of Kasa

In is widely practised in treating Vata rakta, Baala visarpa, Visha etc. In addition to its efficacy in treating Skin diseases like Urticaria, Itching, burning sensation, it is also effective in ligament injuries, Tendonitis, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis etc.

Properties

• Pitta Kapha Samana, Asthi pushtikara, Snayu balya, Malaanulomana, Kustagna, vishagna, Dahaprasamana, Krimigna, Vranasodhana.
• It is Tikta rasa prasaadhana, Laghu & Sita virya Oushadha

Dosage and mode of administration

10-20 gm with warm water before food, once or twice daily, or as directed by physician.

Also applied externally to soothe dry, irritated skin.

Caution

• Don’t recommend for prolonged use
• Overdose may cause gastric irritation & indigestion
